My name is Jamie Galen-Hobbs and I’m the photographer behind Sun Chaser Photo. What began as a teenage passion has grown into a lifelong love for capturing genuine connection and light. From weddings and engagements to portraits, events, and everything in between, I aim to approach each session with creativity and care. My greatest joy lies in photographing couples; I love the laughter, tenderness, and quiet moments that tell your unique story and become lasting works of art.

I’ll gently guide you with natural posing, keep things relaxed and fun, and take care of the details so you don’t have to. EXPERIENCE THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF
I started this business at a young age from scratch with a camera, a vision, and a love for capturing real moments, and it’s grown into something I am deeply passionate about. During my time as a Campus Events Photographer in college, I learned how to document genuine, unscripted experiences in fast-paced environments; this experience was something that still shapes the way I photograph today. By God's provision and blessing, over many years my work has been recognized through awards, featured on album covers, and published on the front pages of newspapers. In more recent years, my work has morphed from a stronger focus on nature and photojournalism into the portraiture business you see today. Now, more than anything, I’m grateful for the trust my clients place in me and the positive feedback I have received.
After many years in the industry, at the end of the day I have a simple goal: to create images that feel like you and capture moments you’ll never want to let go of.
